About the scheme

Motability is a government scheme which provides financial allowances to support disabled people with their car purchase or leasing. At County, we're proud to be involved in the scheme and have helped lots of our customers in Bicester through the process.

We've found that 95% of our Motability customers in Bicester choose to lease a car through Motability's Contract Hire agreement. The agreement benefits include:

  • New car every 3 years
  • Insurance, servicing and maintenance
  • Full RAC breakdown assistance
  • Annual road tax
  • Tyre and windscreen replacement
  • 60,000 mileage allowance over 3 years
  • Many adaptations at no extra cost

Eligibility

The Motability Scheme is open to anyone who receives one of the following benefits, and has at least 12 months' award length remaining when they apply:

  • Higher Rate Mobility Component of Disability Living Allowance
  • War Pensioners' Mobility Supplement

There are no medical assessments, credit checks or waiting lists. County have supported many customers in purchasing or leasing a car through the Motability scheme in Bicester.
